About Dia:
Dia Dearstyne is a Prenatal and Vinyasa Yoga teacher whose creative and playful sequencing is rooted in traditional yoga and influenced by her lifelong study of dance. Dia is a Lead Teacher and co-creator of the 200-Hour YTT program at Vessel Studios in Brooklyn, NY. Additionally she has been a repeat guest teacher in Newburgh Yoga Shala’s 200-Hour YTT, leading the Prenatal Yoga module.
Since 2021 Dia has lovingly led Prenatal Yoga classes throughout the Hudson Valley at Mindful Yoga With Liz and Newburgh Yoga Shala, as well as in NYC at the Prenatal Yoga Center, where she completed her 85-Hour RPYT training. She believes that a birth supported by movement is a happy one and that prenatal yoga provides an invaluable combination of education, exercise, and community.
