Our Policies

All memberships and passes have an expiration date, are non-transferable/non-refundable, and may not be shared.

All memberships may be canceled online anytime, without penalty, unless otherwise indicated in the Membership Contract (currently, no Membership Contract contains cancellation penalties).
Memberships can be used for all classes except Beginners Course or any other pre-registered course or event.
Class passes and drop-ins are not valid for Mysore Style Ashtanga. Students can try the class out with a 3-week unlimited intro pass and sign up for membership.
Introductory and Newcomer Specials are available only on the first visit and one time only.
One (1) month unlimited memberships expire 30 days from date of purchase.
Class passes and drop-ins expire 6 months from the date of first use (not the date of purchase).
Community classes have a $5 minimum donation for those who can afford it. All proceeds will be matched by Google, and go towards a local non-profit organization of the month.
No refunds or credits for expired passes.
Credits or suspension of passes can only be offered for medical reasons with a doctors note.

Pre-payment in full is required at time of registration unless otherwise specified or agreed upon. No refunds. Credit only will be given for cancellations one (1) week prior to a workshop if it is given by a regular studio instructor.

For visiting guest teacher workshops, cancellations must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to the workshop to receive credit. No refunds.
For Teacher Trainings payment must be made in full 2 months prior to the start date.
Refunds for teacher training will not be given. If true extenuating circumstances are shown to apply, credit will be given to the student for a future Teacher Training
If Newburgh Yoga Shala cancels a workshop, a full credit or refund will be issued.
