Taught by Amy Faher and CarlyWill Sloane, this 4-week course is the perfect place to start if you are new to yoga. During the classes, you’ll learn the core principles of yoga and practice the fundamental yoga postures, each session building on the previous week’s class. You will learn how to modify the most commonly practiced poses for your ability or body type, in a friendly, non-intimidating environment. 

At the end of the series you will feel confident enough  to join our open level classes. By signing up you will receive a free week of unlimited yoga classes to help you practice what you’ve learned and try out all of our teachers.

Session 1:

  • Learn how to breathe in Yoga

  • Learn how to practice sun salutations: a breakdown of each posture

Session 2:

  • Explore the most essential standing postures: a breakdown of the most practiced standing postures

  • Explore how to come into, be in and exit a standing posture with ease

  • Practice a beginners Flow with the postures learned

Session 3:

  • Explore the most essential seated postures: a breakdown of the most practiced seated postures

  • Explore how to come into, be in and exit a seated posture with ease

  • Practice a beginners Flow with the postures learned

Session 4:

  • Explore the most essential back bends & finishing postures: a breakdown of the most practiced back bends & inversions

  • Explore how to come into, be in and exit a back bend and inversion with ease

  • Practice a full beginners Flow
